Pope Francis' pastoral visit to South Korea
In August 2014, Pope Francis made his first visit to Asia and the first pope to visit South Korea in 25 years. The number of Catholics in South Korea is growing, and believers are eager to follow the Pope during his five-day pastoral visit. The highlights of the Pope's visit to South Korea include participating in the 6th Asian Youth Day, presiding over a Mass for peace and reconciliation, meeting with South Korean President Park Geun-hye and participating in other activities.
